Information & Advice

About Us
We run a free impartial and confidential Information & Advice helpline service on a comprehensive range of issues for older people, their relatives, friends or professionals who work with them. The Service is provided by trained staff and volunteers, and can advice and assist individuals on a wide range of topics including housing options, housing repairs, community care, finding help at home, income and benefits, legal issues, activities and transport. We have also recently received funding from City Bridge to assist you to get the right benefits and to resolve issues with utility bills and to help you to access services – for example, health, social care and housing services.
Publications
We stock a large selection of Age Concern/UK Booklets, Factsheets and Information Sheets, which are nationally produced guides including: ‘Put more money in your pocket’ and ‘Housing Options’.
